30% Malvasia Bianca, 18% Viognier, 15% Sauvignon Blanc, 13% Pinot Gris, 12% Riesling, 7% Chenin Blanc, 3% Gewurztraminer, 1% Chardonnay and 1% Semillon. The fruit comes from the Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley, Sonoma Valley and the Sonoma Coast. Whole bunches lightly pressed, fermented in stainless steel. Malolactic fermentation partially blocked. 12.5% alcohol. 2,000 cases made. On the nose, wild aromas of gooseberry, kiwi and lilikoi. The palate is fresh, nervy, and electrifying with flavors of green tea, honey, lime zest, and guava. The acidity and ripeness of fruit are in harmony, and this wine will make friends with nearly everyone it crosses paths with. Daybreak always drinks incredibly well on its own, but pair it with scallop ceviche, crudo, or spicy curry dishes for maximum enjoyment.
