100% organically farmed Sauvignon Blanc from the eastern side of the Loire Valley. All stainless steel. The terroir is characterised by marl sediments dating from the Jurassic period, which is known locally as ‘Marne de Saint Doulchard’. This is the “secret” wine of the Millet estate. It’s aged an extra year longer than the Sancerre and the vines are older than any of the family’s Sancerre vines. Crisp and refreshing, elegant and vibrant. This is done in a smooth style, with plenty of white peach and other stone fruit, wet stone minerality, lemon and just a hint of grassiness. Light to medium bodied, with high acidity. Situated in Bué, the Millet family has been making wine for over five generations. The domaine is now run by Gérard and Isabelle, along with their young son Steve. The estate covers a total of 60 acres of vineyards.
