55% Chenin Blanc, 15% Viognier, 10% Roussanne, 10% Marsanne, 10% Chardonnay; farmed organically at Brosseau Vineyard in Chalone- the family estate of Bill Brosseau, Testarossa’s winemaker. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with very low sulphur. 13.3% alcohol. 72 cases made. This wine shows off the incredible mineral character of Chalone’s high elevation, windswept and limestone riddled soils. Medium bodied and very textured, with aromas and flavors of zesty citrus, ripe quince/apple fruit, chamomile tea, honeycomb, roses and salty sea spray. Incredible acidity sizzles on the palate and lasts for days. Listen to the label and have this with some fresh crab anytime over the next decade. These wines are small production and highly sought after- we’ll drink anything Hardy makes!
