Intense nose of white peach and almond flowers and complex mouth feel. Aromas of white peach, citrus blossom, and a hint of honeysuckle lead to a crisp palate of pear, lemon zest, and a gentle mineral edge. Grenache Blanc brings minerality, Viognier aromas of apricot and peach and Marsanne remains more floral. Roussanne supports this aromatic complexity by bringing in citrus notes. Medium bodied and very fresh. Bright acidity makes it an ideal match for grilled seafood, herbed roast chicken, summer salads, or creamy goat cheese.
Mas Grand Plagniol is a family-run winery located in the Costières de Nîmes appellation of the Rhône Valley in France, known for its value-driven, high-quality wines made under the stewardship of Cyril Marès, a sixth-generation winemaker. The winery produces popular white and red wines, often celebrated for their aromatic complexity, supple texture, and balance. Henri Marès (1903-1994) established the vineyard of Château Puy Castéra in Haut Médoc, which was later managed by his son Roger. Roger Marès, Cyril’s father, trained in Bordeaux and put them into practice at Mas des Bressades during the 1970s. Cyril Marès, a graduate of Agronomy and oenologist, continues this ancestral tradition at Mas des Bressades today.
