85% Glera, 15% Chardonnay; all certified sustainable. Made in the Charmat method with 40 days of lees aging. “Extra Dry” is the traditional Italian sweetness level just slightly sweeter than Brut. Don’t worry- this is still crisp and refreshing, with plenty of acidity. Fruity and round, with citrus, orchard and tropical fruit notes. Excellent as an aperitif or as a base for a spritz. The winery was started by Valentino Paladin in 1962 in Motta di Livenza, near Treviso. It’s located at the boundaries of the Venetian land where he moved in the mid-70s in Annone Veneto, a historic village located in the Roman Postumia road. Still family owned and operated, a rarity for Prosecco, Valentino’s granddaughter Francesca now runs the winery alongside her siblings and cousins.
