2025 Château Pradeaux Bandol Rosé

50% Mourvèdre, 50% Cinsault from 80 year old vines. Direct pressed for 24 hours, fermented and aged in cement with no malo. 13.5% alcohol.  Château Pradeaux is based in the commune of Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer on the western edge of the Bandol AOC. The estate has long been associated with traditional, structured Mourvèdre and is one of the appellation’s benchmark producers. Owned by the Portalis family since 1752, Pradeaux is among the oldest family-run domaines in the region, with its modern reputation shaped after World War II through a renewed focus on cellar upkeep, replanting, and the production of age-worthy red wines. This wine offers surprising structure and staying power in addition to ripe cantaloupe and peach flavors. Pleasant acidity and decent weight mean this will age gracefully.
