100% organically farmed Sauvignon Blanc, mostly from La Chene Marchand (arguably Sancerre’s second or third most prestigious site). Native yeast fermentation, all stainless steel with some lees aging. Minimal sulphur at bottling only. 12% alcohol. This is excellent quality, clean and traditional Sancerre- like drinking mountain stream water! This is focused more on clean, pure lemon and green apple fruit, limestone/oyster shell/wet rock minerality, and light floral overtones than on green grassy notes. Long, tingly finish. Situated in Bué, the Millet family has been making wine for over five generations. The domaine is now run by Gérard and Isabelle, along with their young son Steve. The estate covers a total of 60 acres of vineyards.
