2025 La Camensarde Sancerre Blanc

100% Sauvignon Blanc. Vinified simply in stainless steel. This classic Sancerre has a core of mineral toned lemon/lime, tart peach and subtle gooseberry fruit, and has a light background of leafy herbs, lemongrass, white blossoms, wet shale and almond.  Dry, smooth and crisp, with just a hint of tartness. La Camensarde is a collaborative négociant project of several growers in the village of Bué, Sancerre. Bué lies southwest of the village of Sancerre itself, no more than a few minutes away by car. Residing on the left bank of the Loire river, here you’ll find some of the Sancerre appellation’s most famous and familiar names, including Jean-Max Roger, Lucien Crochet, Morin, and Pinard, who all contributed fruit to this bottling.
